How regional forms work
A species' wild population splits by region: the same line lives as its Basic Form in one place and as a Highland, Mountain Woods or weather-bound form in another. Every form carries its own habitats, its own research-book entry and its own art – and when the typing differs, its own strengths and weaknesses, so check the type chart against the form in front of you, not the one you remember.

Changing form with an item
Two items in the game data switch a form. The game's own wording for each:
Morph Orb Use on an Aniimo to change it into any other form except Prismana Form. Requires that you have previously obtained that form for this type of Aniimo.
Prismana Orb Can be used on an Aniimo with unlocked Prismana Form in Breezy Plains to toggle it into its Prismana variant. Keeps the Aniimo’s Innate Potentials, traits, and personality.
